I'm embarrassed to be asking this but the definition on dictionary.com
does not seem applicable to jetskis, so...What is "cavitation"? Is it
related to vibration?

Second: I have a '94 GTX that I bought new and have barely used, plus
a '97 GTX that I just got used (with a Shuttlecraft). (I just
acquired a family and the single jetski just doesn't fit our needs.)
There is a manual that covers 1989(?) to 1997, but then there is also
one that covers 1997 & 1998. Are there separate repair manuals and
service manuals and engine manuals?

I have seen the Clymer manuals and the Seloc manuals; the shop manuals
and the service manuals; and the CDs listed on eBAY.

I want to get whatever manuals make a complete set so that I can
diagnose and fix what I can. I'm very handy and don't shy away from
tricky stuff, but I have no experience with car repairs (since my 1979
Datsun) or other engine repairs.

Any help would be appreciated. If you think that my questions don't
belong here then I'll just slip in to the background again and lurk.
