Video of Sea Lion riding on my Sea Doo

About 5 miles off the coast of Ventura CA this sea lion just hopped on
the back of my sea doo then went for a ride with me. We hung out for
about 30 minutes. Was very cool. The video can be seen here

When I saw the title I was like I have never ridden on the back of
anyone's Doo. That's crazy how that sea lion just made himself at home.

I thought he meant you too at first. Anyway - that is completely
insanely awesome - best thing ever! I was psyched the weekend before
this to encounter a small pod of dolphins jumping in front of us when
a friend and I were riding our waverunners along the Jersey
coast...but this has that all beat to hell! And to have captured it
on film - unbelievable!

I wish I had the pictures of the sea loin that jumped on my ski. Scared the
blank out of me and I jumped in the water, after 5mins or so he got off and
I left.

If your out by Mission Bay in San Diego and go out the jetty there on the
left side by the big buoy.

This weekend I was out by some island off the coast and about 100 dolphins
came out of nowhere and were jumping and playing all around me.
If you leave San Diego bay and go about 2 miles outside of the kelp beds you
will see sea life all over. I have seen small sharks, lots of jelly fish and
something that looked like a 2 foot eye.

That video was great, he was so calm.

When I came back to San Diego from Coast Guard boot camp we had a small seal
jump on our boat, friendly as can be till the master chief came aboard.
He chased the master chief all over the boat but the rest of us could pet
and touch him or her.
