My Kawasaki 1100 ZXI (model year 2001) is occassionally difficult to
start. The owner's manual does not specify what to do with the
accelerator lever while starting the PWC. Should I be squeezing the
accelerator lever when depressing the green START button or not?
Should I be "pumping" the lever? Also, could excessive pressure in
the fuel tank be part of the problem? If so, could simply allowing
some pressure to escape prior to starting be a good idea?
