Does $25 sound like a good number? I think your best bet is to call your
mechanic and ask him for an estimate, or else do the job yourself. It really
doesn't matter what anyone else thinks it should cost.

Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer. If you want the price of a part
that's one thing..... If you want the price for labor you'd be best off
asking whomever is doing the job. Just because you or me thinks he should do
it for $3.50 doesn't mean he will do it for a nickel less than $500. In
other words..... call around and get some estimates. Keep in mind that
cheapest doesn't equal best.
If you have any more stupid questions, feel free to say nothing........

It wasn't a stupid question... but he certainly did get a stupid answer.
You could have simply told him that you're an idiot and don't have a clue.
Would have saved time.

It wasn't very nice of you to refer to Giz as an idiot after he stuck up for
you like that. But on the other hand anyone who would post several hundred
messages arguing with the likes of ricky g would tend to fall into that
category. |
