It means you seized that piston and then ran the ski afterwards which
only exacerbates the damage. As to the fix and cost, you won't know
until the engine has been torn down to see if you did any damage to the
rod bearings on that cylinder, and what kind of shape the cylinder
itself is in. But, first, you need someone to determine the cause of
the failure, otherwise you will repeat it all over again. Could be as
easy as a blocked oil line to that carb or could be a seal leaking air.
Diagnosis first, repair second. If too much damage is done, you might
consider a SBT shortblock to get a rebuilt engine.
