I have a kawasaki 650 and now also a 750 (1992 750ss)
put the 750 in for the first time last wkend
I know the batt is ng because after charging it fully the engine cranks over
fairly well for maybe 15 sec then noticably starts to slow
here's the thing the 750 seems to be hard to start when the batt is charged
and the engine is cranking well it will not even try to start like there is
no spark
I boosted it off the 650 and it starts every time
is it normal for a 750 to need a perfect batt to go ?
I know with the 650 even if the batt is half dead
and the engine is cranking slow it will still go... If I was out somewhere
and was to flood this thing and run the batt down
even a little I would be stranded for sure

Mike even though you think it has a full charge you don't have enough voltage.
I believe it is 10-11 volts on those just to make them start.
