Well your ski first needs to be running BEFORE you turn ON the water, after
it's running then turn it on within 10-15 seconds. NOT full blast. I
usually turn the knob a couple of turns. Then turn the water OFF when done
before you turn the Ski OFF! If you don't do this you will fill your engine
up with water. If you do, Pull the spark plugs and crank the motor over a
bit the shoot the water out of the spark plug holes, put the plugs back in
and see if it will then start up. Don't leave the motor sitting around full
of water.
