Hi

I just bought a Polaris slh 1998 with 90 hours on it. It is always
displaying "lopr". I looked in the owner manual, it means: Low power.
It says it will display this message if the battery goes under 10.9
volts. I just bought a new battery (there was still the original on
it), sill the same message. On the display, I can read 0.2 volt
(which can't be true, otherwise it won't even start...). Does anyone
have an idea of what to check next for this kind of problem? Where
the MFD gets it's reading? Is there a fuse for the voltage reading?
Any help would be very appreciated!! As it is kind of annoying: if the
mfd detects a low power condition, it stops displaying the speed, gaz
level, oil level, etc...

Thanks a lot!

Bernard

It's most likely a bad MFD rather than an actual system problem
(assuming it starts). There is a schematic in the owners manual for the
electrical system which will show you where it plugs in on the terminal
board (inside the electrical box) and you can always clean that
connection and see if it helps (corrosion could limit the voltage
reading) or clean all the terminals and ground inside the box,
especially if it has ever gotten water inside.
