I will be taking niece and nephew on a boat trip to Galapagos in late
March. No diving, but I will be snorkeling. What will the water temp
be like? I expect cool and cloudy for the end of the rainy season,
but will my 3-mil wetsuit be enough?

March is summer season there, so the water is probably in the low-to-
mid 70s at least (versus upper 60s in the frigid winter). For
snorkeling, a 3mm should be plenty unless you're utterly lacking in
personal insulation. If that's the case, have a second helping at
Christmas dinner.
