Surfing in UK

Hello,
I'm from Italy, but actually I'm in London to holiday and I would like
to stay here more, but the calling of sea is too strong to just
staying !
I'm looking for a good spot where I can also live and work, 'cause I'm
not a pro-surfer, so I need time to learn and learn and lear... I NEED
WAVES !!!
Please, I need a big help: tell me where are nicest cities, more
interesting spots and most beautiful waves.
