Hi,

I just started surfing recently and am thinking of taking a week or two

holiday at a surfing school/camp in either Portugal (Sagres or Lagos
maybe) or the Canaries (Fuerteventura).

I haven't bought any gear yet and have only been out on 5 or 6
occasions for about 2hrs at a time. I found the learning curve pretty
steep but on the last time out felt I made a breakthrough and could
stand on a lot of broken waves all the way in. I'm based in the SW of
Ireland.

Could anybody recommend a particular school or company, based on past
experience? I've looked at a few including...

Thanks,

Live in London, but want to surf a lot more. Where and How? Hi there, I've been getting into surfing in a big way recently. The past 3 trips have involved hiring a car in London and driving along the M4 all the way to Llanglennith (via Swansea) in Wales. This is great but it gets a little tiring. A 5 hour drive.
