Though I'm curious as to why one of the names on the web site has an
Iowa address. Does he really go 1500 miles to the sea, when Lake
Michigan is only 300 miles away?

I don't believe there is any sailboat racing on Lake Michigan in the winter?

Whereas, here in Washington State, all saltwater YC have races in the
winter.

The DN class just had their North American Championships last weekend on
Lake Michigan, sailing out of Menominee, Michigan.

Interesting, don't those things always beat to weather because the apparent
