I have a 1990 Sea Doo GT 580 with a yellow motor. It is in great shape and has
served up well for MANY years. My problem is it starts fine and idles ok, but
when you give it more than 3/8 throttle it cuts in and out, the realy weird
thing is if you ride it for 15min or so then it will totally clear up and pull
top end just fine. I have changed plugs a couple of times and also changed plug
wire caps (no change) I have also ohmed out the teather switch and kill button,
they look ok, although I am not sure what the white wire coming from the kill
button is I read 11.5 volts on white and 12,5 on red, purple apears to be the
feed in series with the teather sw.

The charging system hasnt been working for years either. Any ideas?????

Please help me!!!
