Anyone got a stock or decent aftermarket chinpad for a FX! for sale?
Fabric on mine tore.
Aftermarket would be preferable.
Any opinions on differences between the different aftermarket chinpads?
Blowsion's seems to be a bit more expensive.
Thanks
Mike R.

Ever considered just getting the fabric cover instead of the whole chin pad?
A good auto upolster shop, using stainless steel staples, might be a less
expensive way to go. That is what I did with my Blowsion chin pad
cover....Craig

Craig,
Yes i've thought of that. I tried several upholstery shops to do the AP design
side pads. None of the local shops had short enough staples.

This is a perfect time to get rid of that heavy FX-1 chinpad.
What I did was rivet on gatorgrip to the stock plastic chinpad, using aluminum
washers. You could use hydro-turf or other.
Or just swap it with your other FX...LOL

LOL Oh my yes! The stock chinpad is soooo heavy!

Wouldn't all that make it heavier than stock? Smile

That is possible also, then the spare ski looks like junk. Smile
200MPH tape just isn't very appealing. Though it works for now.
