I am purchasing this ski used tomorrow but don't know if it has the ability
to tow a skier or a tube. Does anybody know if it has a hook in the back in
order hook up a rope?

You can always tie it around your neck.

Yes...it has a place to tie a rope.

Used? That thing only had 3 hours on it and looked like it just came off
the showroom. You got a good deal, bro.

I don't know but the intake grate makes a good spot to tie a rope Smile
Haven't heard from you in awhile.

Will it do it? Yes. But the manufacturer states the STXR is for racing
only, not rec riding.

Well the manual says you can so I am not going to sweat it.

SL,

I know I have been gone for a while, but now it's time to get back into it.
I didn't think you would remember me.

I can't forget the monkey. So have you put the STXR in the water yet? I
guess you moved up to a bigger couch. Since I last saw you, I sold my
SL750 and bought a 96 SLX780 that I massaged a little more juice from. I
also got a 95 SJ that screams and my X-2 is finally back together and
running. I think my next purchase will be either an Octane or SX-R.

I actually use to have a 99 XLL but I sold it in 2000. Purchased it for my
wife but she was not using it so there it went. Now that ski was a couch, I
did like it though.

I still have my 96XP with a hammer kit on it, I have added a couple of
things since then and did a top-end and crank rebuild.

I have not had the STX-R in the water yet, maybe if my monkey friend Jim
gets back to me about Catalina this weekend, then the STX-R will get wet.

More juice is always a good thing, its cool that you have other skis too cuz
one can always use a backup.

So when is the next meet?

1. I'm not a monkey.

2. I'm not your friend.

3. My dad won't have his boat back from the shop by this weekend. We can
still go riding somewhere though. Elsinore?

Sometime in August for me. Too much going on with selling my house and
buying another one right now and then moving.
