I had to replace my broken spark plug caps, they are making contact,
but I had to cut wire back some because the wire conductors inside
kept breaking. I will like to replace the wires, since these are
still factory...
Is it possible to replace spark plug wires on a 98 yamaha GP1200
without replacing the coil?

Thanks

You can get of NGK wires. I will have to search around for the part # for
them but that is what I did with all my GP1200R's. If you look in a Dennis
Kirk catalog you can get them out of there.

You can get just the wires?...then, how do you attach them to the
coils?
I noticed you mentioned GP1200R, I own a GP1200 .... Anyway, I'm going
to do some more research...

I will look for NGK brand wires then (and see if I can get a hold of a
Dennis Kirk Catalog)...

If you or anyone else knows a part number or some other option without
repkacing coils, please let me know...

Thanks,
